Job Summary
The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services to meet the company’s operational needs. In addition, role requires coordinating efforts with warehouse and inventory supervisors to maintain the appropriate level of inventory utilizing utilize expert knowledge to purchase goods and services at the most favorable price and best quality for the company, while simultaneously building and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers
Key Duites and Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new products.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensures invoice discrepancies are addressed in a timely fashion
- Undertake any other assignments as reasonably issued by the President.

- Computer skills including MS Office 365 and procurement software
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a buyer or in a similar procurement role.
