Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our vibrant team based in Toronto (Vaughan), Ontario. This role involves proactive planning and organization of the day-to-day and long-term management of Crystal’s System Design and Application Engineering teams. This encompasses overseeing all Engineering processes, starting from sales forecast through post-commissioning and warranty. A primary objective is to minimize Engineering risks by ensuring strict adherence to relevant standards, codes, and industry best practices.

Fountain Solutions Information Fulfillment

• Enhance the depth, quality, and accuracy of information crucial for customers to materialize their fountain designs.
• Ensure comprehensive design information to support our customers’ needs.

Fountain Engineering

• Oversee the production of risk-free, reliable water feature engineering to maintain our company’s esteemed reputation and keep our customers free from troubles.
• Review mechanical and electrical water feature design process flow diagrams.

Customer Engagement and Project Management

• Respond promptly and accurately to customer and prospect requests for information.
• Effectively manage project specifications, schedule, resource planning, and custom component design and engineering.

**Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements:**

• +7 years of mechanical and electrical engineering experience in an MEP contractor environment, consultancy experience is also welcomed.
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• +5 years of Engineering Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to develop key metrics for engineering and maintain disciplined focus on KPI data.
• Experience in leading and managing change within an organization.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated leadership skills.
