Located at the former site of the famous Hollywood Park Racetrack, SoFi Stadium is an impressive multi-entertainment complex that spans approximately 300 acres in Inglewood, California. Home of the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, this advanced stadium seats over 70,000 spectators.
Designed by HKS Architects, SoFi Stadium’s vision came to life with the stadium itself, a new casino, a state-of-the-art movie theater, and an evolving mix of food, fashion, arts and cultural programming. Welcoming pedestrians to enjoy the plaza, the translucent roof that covers the stadium can project images and can be seen from both the ground and from by airplanes flying in and out of LAX airport.
“SoFi Stadium is more than a sports stadium. As a people-friendly space, the water feature designers at Fluidity wanted to include a water feature for the Lake Waterfall to enhance the experience for every visitor. Our objective for this project was to create a custom kelvin white temperature light fixture, to match the requirements of the onsite conditions. This was the first time, as a custom Manufacturer, we were asked to do a custom kelvin temperature on our four foot long tunable white Linear Lights. Champions Park water feature and the lake is what came from our collaboration with Fluidity, and installing contractor Brightview, on this project and were grateful for the opportunity. I think you’ll agree that it turned out beautifully.” – Asmaa Elkorazati, Business Development Manager who worked on this project.
