With over 40 million visitors a year Universal Studios – Orlando transports you into a world of adventure and excitement. Allowing you to jump directly into the action of your favorite movies and tv shows, this theme park also offers thrilling rides and captivating performances.

After a long day of soaking in all that Universal has to offer, though, what better way to relax and let loose than a stunning Caribbean inspired oasis nestled right into the heart of the park? Effectively eliminating the dreaded traffic-jammed drive off the grounds, the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort instead offers guests the enticing alternative of taking a complimentary ferry ride down a winding lagoon to this brand new, all-inclusive resort.

Reminiscent of a leisurely estate in the heart of the tropics, every comfort has been built into this brand new jewel. With its pool alone spanning over 16,000 square feet, this resort offers guests more than just discounts and early access to the park; it is a complete vacation destination all on its own. White sand beaches, hot tubs, arcade games, water slides and organized events offer guests of Universal a complete island style getaway right in the heart of Orlando.

Our client’s wanted to enhance the gorgeous design of the landscape with up-lighting for the center-piece waterfalls, as well as picturesque colors to add an element of allure to the lagoon ponds and surrounding area; one in particular being the perfect shade of sapphire blue. With RGBW LED lighting technology, we were able to produce a pure white color for the cascading waterfalls; one that was not tainted with any other tinge thanks to an additional white diode. A request for a custom warm white was also met to add an element of depth and animation to the feature, and a number of other colors were added underwater surrounding the feature, complementing the resort’s namesake shade of blue.

Augmenting the stunning architecture and landscaping of this world-class resort, the water feature bleeds into the lagoon surrounding the perimeter; tying in the paradise charm of the area, and welcoming guests as they arrive back from an unforgettable day at one of Florida’s biggest attractions.
