Opened in 2004 and nestled in Warsaw, Poland, Westfield Arkadia is the largest shopping complex in Central Europe receiving nearly 20 million visitors yearly. Owned and operated by Unibail-Rodamco – Westfield, one of the most prestigious real estate companies in Europe, the shopping centre boasts 287,000 square meters of retail space consisting of 230 shops, 25 restaurants, and a massive movie theater. With various Polish flagship stores and other international brands, this shopping complex is a prominent social hub for the area.

Westfield Arkadia won the best shopping center award in Poland, 2004 and European Shopping Center Award in 2006. The shopping complex was also selected as Warsaw’s most disability-friendly building by the multiple non government organizations like Warsaw Without Barriers programme and the NGO Association of Friends of Integration.

Starting in 2017, the shopping complex underwent a major renovation to refresh and modernize the space in order to create additional shopping and meeting points for its patrons. One of the main focal points of this renovation was the addition of a multi-experience interactive water feature. The water feature includes 87 customized Crystal Choreoswitches and 14 sequencing Finger jets with accompanying fog effects that jump and run based on the choreography. With each nozzle’s embedded RGBW lights and Crystal composed choreography, the water feature provides an inviting experience throughout the mall’s operating hours.

There is no doubt that Westfield Arkadia will continue its reputation as the one of the most prominent shopping complexes in Central Europe and play an essential role in Poland’s social life for many years to come.
